What to do when
water damage happens
Water damage can happen at any moment. Please take carful consideration of the following steps & always call a trained professional first.
Water Shut Off
Find the shut off source in your home or property. This is commonly located on top of the hot water heater or outside your property. Call a licensed plumber for emergency shut off services.
Electrical Shut Off
Please do not turn on any electrical fixtures in or around the water damaged area. It is good practice to turn off all electrical in the house or property.
Vacate
Do not stay in the water damaged area overnight. Mold can begin growing within 24-48 hours. Please vacate the property ASAP.
Call Your Insurance
Report the water damage to your insurance. They'll send a field adjuster to inspect the damage. Please request a copy of your insurance policy.
Find a licensed & insured restoration company. Some companies offier both water damage clean up & restoration remodeling services.

A water restoration company will need to review your insurance policy to see what your coverage is. This will help the restoration company understand what your options are.
